Jeremy Murdock, a native of Olive Branch, MS, was raised with an appreciation for the outdoors and nature. Murdock entered the Landscape Architecture Department at Mississippi State University as a student in the fall of 2000. The knowledge he attained as a landscape architecture student educated him on urban environments and taught him the design principles that he uses in his photography today. Now, as a resident of Starkville and an employee of Mississippi State University, Murdock works as a community planner, and he has the opportunity to travel around the State of Mississippi and enjoy the natural beauty of the state. His photography highlights unique towns and communities in Mississippi, and it also portrays distinctive shots of his travels throughout the country.
